The attention to detail in my current work has been very demanding. Given the legacy of my cinematic and literary horror influences, one could certainly appreciate the standard I hold myself to. For all that, as I edit and revise, I'm increasingly satisfied with what I'm accomplishing.

Studying under author Jerry B. Jenkins has refined my prose and been instrumental in shaping this horror yarn. Once I've completed work on my dystopian tale, my hope is that it will stand as a reflection of deep admiration for all my influences.

The nature of my manuscript is survival horror, and I refuse to hold back when depicting how the characters navigate their apocalyptic setting. For terror to resonate, it must feel authentic. While there are flashes of gruesome intensity, my writing—like that of my influences—leans more on tension, dread, and psychological unraveling than shock value. Often, the most unsettling horrors are the ones left unseen.
