InFlection: A Haiku

By J.W. Arthur

Death, memories fade;

Her smile, like the sun, remains,

Foolish pride to blame.

Copyright MMXXV by J.W. Arthur

The title is a deliberate wordplay of introspection and reflection: looking back at what was lost, what remains, and inward at the quiet reckoning of death.
